ETHER
DAY Celebration

since December 4, 2001
My,
how time flies. Doesn't it seem like it was just yesterday we
were getting our first earful of the violent barrage of gunfire
and stern screwed voice of the late, great Tupac Shakur, opening
up the lava infused standard of modern day rap "diss records,"
now known as ETHER?
Yes,
yes we know the colossal slab of beef was recently squashed on a
magical autumn night in New Jersey.
We
understand that the two pillars of the current Hip-Hop infrastructure
are now somewhat comrades and that everyone from Kurt Loder to The
Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has given their view on the
matter.
Indeed,
we're fully aware.
We
comprehend that for all intents and purposes, this thing should
be over because the war has been fought, the battle waged, and now
the boys are coming back home, etc.
To
the people with that perception of this whole thing, we say shut
the hell up, you don't know shit about that ETHER DAY or
what it's about!
ETHER
DAY is all about striving to get your crown back; fighting
for what's right and being a fuckin' General in the face of an "Army."
So don't get your panties all ruffled Shawn Carter fans, your hero
has little to nothing to do with the celebration founded on his
birthday at this point. He is but a piece of everything that needed
to happen at the right time in this Matrix of a movement. Just sit
back and enjoy the ETHER DAY photo festivities.
Salutations
and Happy ETHER DAY.
